Our Ruby Black Tea is a rare and exceptional tea, made from the Ruby 18 cultivar, which was developed by the Taiwanese Tea Research and Extension Station (TTRES). This cultivar, first bred in 1962 and perfected in 1999, is a cross between the Taiwanese wild tea plant B-607 and the Assam variety.
